Pig Butchery Course £140

The course is completely hands on, with a maximum of 2 delegates, each with half a pig. You will have the half a pig and a knife and will be given expert one-to one tuition by a butcher on how to butcher the pig to your requirements. At each stage the butcher will explain what cuts can be made as there are a number of ways of butchering each part of a pig.
As well as learning your way around the various cuts you will be taught to bone and roll joints, including being able to tie a butcher's knot. You will be given the confidence to tackle the butchery on your own at home whether on your own produced pigs or on a half pig you have bought from a breeder.
The cost of the course is £140 and the course lasts about 3 hours.

Pig Feeders


We have three second hand pig feeders for sale. They are operated by the pig pushing the treadle and releasing the food onto the plate and are very useful during the ad lib feeding of weaners. They are very sturdy and well designed with metal loops to be moved by tractor if needed.


They are £100 each.
